Tonight I watched an entire episode of The Daily Show with my mom and the whole time she thought it was Saturday Night Live. It took two years for her to learn who Morrissey was, so her inability to know what day it is and to tell Jon Stewart and Seth Meyers apart can be overlooked. A+ for effort. visual aids:

There are forest fires all around where I live. The air is super smoky and there are ashes falling from the sky. The moon is red. Honestly, it looks really cool.
It really sucks though because you can taste the smoke, even indoors. From what I understand places as close as 45 kilometres away from us are being evacuated. I really hope that doesn’t happen here. I’m not too worried...
